Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Keith Siefring and Austin Zimmerman Lead St. Henry to Victory

St. Henry won the last time they faced Parkway and things went their way on Friday too. The St. Henry Redskins walked away with a 44-34 victory over the Parkway Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redskins.

Leading St. Henry to victory were Austin Zimmerman and Keith Siefring. Zimmerman went 6 of 10 to rack up 19 points and seven boards, while Siefring posted eight points and five steals. Those 19 points gave Zimmerman a new career-high. Carson Harrod was another key player, putting up four points.

St. Henry's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Parkway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Henry and Van Wert will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Parkway, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against South Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
