Basketball Recap: Bountiful RedHawks vs. Olympus Titans
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bountiful walked away with it. They really took it to the Olympus Titans for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-25 victory. The RedHawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 23 points or more this season.
Bountiful's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Milika Satuala, who went 8-for-15 en route to 16 points along with six assists and six boards. Satuala's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Harvey, who went 7-for-10 on her way to 19 points and eight rebounds.
Satuala wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Bountiful was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Olympus only one assist.
Olympus' loss on Thursday came despite strong showings from Joss Baker and Annie Erickson. Baker posted 16 points, while Erickson earned six points. That was a full 64% of Olympus' points, marking the third time in a row Baker has put up more than a third of the team's points.

The victory (which was Bountiful's 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points over those games. As for Olympus, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9.
Coming up, Bountiful will square off against Spanish Fork at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Bountiful knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Spanish Fork likes a good challenge.
