Volleyball Recap: Gateway Tech Comes Up Short

Gateway Tech lost against Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Owls by a score of 3-2. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gateway Tech took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Dylan Nguyen had a dynamite game For Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience., getting 22 digs and two assists. Those 22 digs gave Nguyen a new career-high. Collin Doering also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Gateway Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Looking ahead, Gateway Tech will take on Bayless at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience, they will host Ladue Horton Watkins at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
