Football Game Preview: Mountain Valley Falcons vs. Lisbon Greyhounds

The Mountain Valley Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the Lisbon Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain Valley is looking for their season's first victory.

Mountain Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Oak Hill, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 16-14 on Friday.

Although Mountain Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Cole Curtis and Dylan Theriault.

Meanwhile, Lisbon lost to Freeport on the road by a 26-12 margin on Saturday.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mountain Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-5.

Mountain Valley couldn't quite finish off Lisbon in their previous matchup back in September of 2017 and fell 22-20. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
