Baseball Recap: Lourdes Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lourdes's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Cannon Falls Bombers on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bombers: they've now lost four in a row.

Lourdes saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Streefland, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Lourdes' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cannon Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Lourdes will head out to square off against St. Charles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Fighting Saints will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cannon Falls, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Kasson-Mantorville at 3:00 p.m.
