Basketball Recap: Chapelgate Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Chapelgate Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 64-41 to the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-17.

Chapelgate Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chapelgate Christian Academy will face off against Annapolis Area Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they will take on Mount Airy Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maryland School for the Deaf has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
