Softball Recap: Granville Golden Horde vs. North Warren Central Cougars
While Granville put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for North Warren Central. The Golden Horde blew past the Cougars 17-0. The Golden Horde haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Joysie Velez made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Velez was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
