Recap: Crosspoint Christian vs. The Fulton
This season hasn't been kind to Crosspoint Christian, who are still winless after their sixth game. They were beaten by The Fulton 49-10 on Friday. Crosspoint Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-4.
Alyssa Berk was Crosspoint Christian's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Bekah Petry held things down on the boards with 12 rebounds. Petry took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with a assist.
The Fulton found their leader in underclassman Lily Leonard, who scored 31 points. Maddy Hassan was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Crosspoint Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for The Fulton, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Crosspoint Christian has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Westwood Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Westwood Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday. As for The Fulton, they will square off against Mississippi Valley Christian at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
