Martins Mill is a perfect 4-0 against Hawkins since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will take on the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Neither Martins Mill nor Hawkins posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Monday, Martins Mill didn't have quite enough to beat Cumby and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Hawkins' offense. They lost 11-0 to Como-Pickton on Monday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Hawks haven't been shut out since back in March.

Hawkins saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taetum Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Martins Mill now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hawkins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10-1.

Everything went Martins Mill's way against Hawkins in their previous matchup back in April of 2021, as Martins Mill made off with a 13-0 win. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
