Baseball Recap: Lee Park Prep Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lee Park Prep couldn't beat Central Academy on Thursday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Knights fell 11-8 to the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 back in March.

Lee Park Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Arant, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Logan Martin was another, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Lee Park Prep's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-9. As for Central Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13.

Lee Park Prep didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-4 loss against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy on the 28th. As for Central Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 13-7 win against Forest Hills on the 21st.
