Softball Recap: Trinity Wolves vs. Modoc Braves

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 8-1 walloping at the hands of the Modoc Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Trinity of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Friday.

Trinity saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Ragan, who went 1-for-3 with a double.

On Modoc's side, Caelli DePaul looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Aubree Knighton was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Julianna Minto, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Modoc, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
