Soccer Recap: Gulf Shores Comes Up Short

If Gulf Shores was riding high fresh off their 10-1 takedown of Bayshore Christian last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gulf Shores Dolphins fell just short of the Bayside Academy Admirals by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Dolphins in their matchups with the Admirals: they've now lost three in a row.

Gulf Shores' goal came courtesy of Lee Marshall, who's now up to two this season.

Gulf Shores' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bayside Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Gulf Shores will take on Providence Christian at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bayside Academy, they will welcome St. Paul's Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
