Combs put their dominant defense on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Friday. They blew past the Maryvale Panthers, posting a 58-0 win. The contest marked the Coyotes' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Combs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kannin Hale, who threw for 170 yards and four TDs while completing 90% of his passes. What's more, Hale racked up 168.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Skyler Lawrence was in the mix too, providing Combs with two touchdowns.
