It was a proper cat-fight when Livingston Academy duked it out with Stone Memorial on Monday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Panthers 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Panthers two weeks ago, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Livingston Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Stone Memorial, they moved to 14-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Livingston Academy will challenge Upperman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Bees at the right time seeing as the Bees are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Stone Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
