            Volleyball Recap: Wapsie Valley Warriors vs. Maquoketa Valley Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Wapsie Valley won the last time they faced Maquoketa Valley and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  win over the Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Warriors have posted  since October 5, 2024.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Wapsie Valley who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26,  15-9.
 Taylor Schneider paced Wapsie Valley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Schneider got some help from  Tessa Brunscheon and her 17 assists.  Taylor Buhr controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
