Deakon Cervantes was a major factor in Brackenridge's victory over Sam Houston on Thursday. Nobody could stop Cervantes as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Brackenridge is undefeated when Cervantes allows three or fewer earned runs, but 3-12 otherwise.
