Volleyball Game Preview: Eastmark Firebirds vs. Crismon Rattlers

The Eastmark Firebirds will head out to face off against the Crismon Rattlers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Eastmark has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Crismon will come in with four straight victories.

Eastmark came up short against Mesquite on Friday, falling 3-0.

Crismon won the last time they faced Poston Butte, and Joshua Marquez did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rattlers blew past the Broncos 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Marquez, who had 12 digs and two assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, 25-12.

Crismon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-9. As for Eastmark, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Eastmark couldn't quite get it done against Crismon in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 2-0. Can the Firebirds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
