C2 District 9 recap November 13, 2013

St. Patrick's made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,322 from 4,099. The advance stemmed from a 28-18 victory over Blue Hill last week.

The Irish led C2 District 9 in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on the Bobcats. Collin Pieper ran for 115 yards and caught 1 pass for 31 yards during the win.

St. Patrick's' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Alex Harms threw for 91 and 1 touchdown and Drew McClellen had 46 yards receiving. On the ground Pieper chipped in 115 yards. Pieper helped St. Patrick's' passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 31 yards.

Gaige Marshall provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Hershey fell to St. Cecilia. Marshall's key target this week was Josh Margritz, who caught 2 passes for 16 yards.

Pieper was the most successful running back in the league this week. Harms also contributed to the rushing game with 23 yards on the ground.

6-foot-1 quarterback Harms of Kevin Dodson's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 735. He has also thrown 7 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jake Witte. The Cambridge star has 17 catches for 363 yards.

The Panthers led the league in points allowed with 13.
