Troy's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Butler, the win keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 35-31 victory against Xenia on the 25th. As for Butler, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-20 win against Piqua on the 25th.
