Volleyball Recap: Delone Catholic Finds Playoff Glory Versus Richland

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Delone Catholic walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Richland Rams 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Squires have posted since September 13th.

Delone Catholic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Richland still got an impressive performance from Hailey Buck, who had 20 digs and four assists.

The win made it two in a row for Delone Catholic and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 31-6-2.

Looking ahead, Delone Catholic will square off against Pine Grove at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
