Volleyball Game Preview: Dakota Ridge Eagles vs. Frederick Golden Eagles

The Dakota Ridge Eagles will square off against the Frederick Golden Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Dakota Ridge will be strutting in after a victory while Frederick will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Dakota Ridge got the win against Fairview by a conclusive 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Dakota Ridge was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-13.

Bayley Distel was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Frederick came up short against Standley Lake on Thursday and fell 3-1.

While Frederick had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 16-25, 25-23.

Dakota Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Frederick, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
