Soccer Recap: Copper Canyon Starts Season with Win at Home

Copper Canyon gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Agua Fria Owls. The Aztecs found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Jonathan Hernandez Ramirez and Antonio Nunez were both handed yellow cards.

Copper Canyon hit Agua Fria with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alonso Noriega (2), Luis Ocando, and Francisco Garcia.

Copper Canyon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Mountain Ridge on the 4th. Agua Fria has also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Tolleson on the 4th.
