Baseball Recap: Battle Mountain Huskies vs. Rifle Bears
Battle Mountain had lost six straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 10-11 to make it seven. They fell just short of the Rifle Bears by a score of 5-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 on Saturday.
Kai Tipton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Blake Roberts was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
