Soccer Recap: Eaglecrest Takes a Loss

Eaglecrest lost against Chaparral back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raptors lost 9-0 to the Wolverines. While losing is never fun, Eaglecrest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Chaparral are ranked 35th).

Eaglecrest has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season. As for Chaparral, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-1.

Eaglecrest didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Arapahoe on the 22nd. As for Chaparral, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Ponderosa on the 22nd.
