Volleyball Game Preview: El Toro Chargers vs. Quartz Hill Royals

After both having extra time off, the El Toro Chargers and the Quartz Hill Royals will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with El Toro sitting on four straight victories and Quartz Hill on five.

El Toro is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Laguna Blanca, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since March 1st.

El Toro was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 17-25, 25-15, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Quartz Hill sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Village Christian on Saturday.

Quartz Hill's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-12-1. As for El Toro, their victory bumped their record up to 17-15.
