Softball Recap: Evansville Central Comes Up Short

Evansville Central lost to Evansville Reitz back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evansville Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Robinson, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Evansville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Evansville Reitz, they moved to 4-12 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Evansville Central will challenge Evansville Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Evansville Reitz, they will be playing at home against Evansville Bosse at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
