Basketball Recap: Jimmeana Labbe's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Legacy over Port St. Lucie

It was a proper cat-fight when Legacy faced off against Port St. Lucie on Monday. The Lions took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars.

Legacy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jimmeana Labbe, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alexandra Biros, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Port St. Lucie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy will welcome Somerset College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Berean Christian at 5:30 p.m.
