Football Recap: Margeil Garcia's Menacing Defense Leads Sierra over East Union + How To Watch

Sierra extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Tessa Zalunardo. The Timberwolves came out on top against the East Union Lancers by a score of 26-19 on Thursday for which the team can thank Zalunardo, who rushed for 22 yards and one TD, and also threw for 41 yards and one touchdown while completing 83.3% of her passes. Her passing game has become a key predictor of Sierra's success: the team is undefeated when her passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-5 otherwise.

Sierra's defense made their presence known, laying out Julianna Gaspar. four times. In that department, Margeil Garcia was the leader with three sacks. Garcia is crushing it when it comes to sacks: she's posted at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
