Football Recap: Pocono Mountain West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Pocono Mountain West took on Pocono Mountain East on Friday. The Panthers received a blow as they fell 35-21 to the Cardinals. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Justin Williams was his usual excellent self, picking up 83 receiving yards and three scores for Pocono Mountain East. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Williams a new career-high.

Pocono Mountain West has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Pocono Mountain East, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Pocono Mountain West will square off against Governor Mifflin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pocono Mountain East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
