Redwood is 9-0-1 against San Marin since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Redwood Giants will host the San Marin Mustangs at 3:15 p.m. Redwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.

Redwood's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Novato with a sharp 5-0 win. Masa Fujita was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for San Marin's offense. They came up short against Archie Williams on Thursday, falling 6-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Peregrine Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

San Marin's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-3. As for Redwood, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2-4.

Everything went Redwood's way against San Marin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Redwood made off with a 5-0 win. Does Redwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will San Marin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
