Baseball Game Preview: Williamsville Bullets vs. Springfield Senators

The Williamsville Bullets will head out to face off against the Springfield Senators at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Williamsville is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Williamsville didn't have quite enough to beat Taylorville and fell 8-7.

Springfield couldn't beat Pleasant Plains on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Senators fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 5-4. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wade Snyder was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Williamsville now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.

Everything went Williamsville's way against Springfield in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Williamsville made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bullets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
