Baseball Game Preview: Webberville Spartans vs. Bath Fighting Bees

The Webberville Spartans will head out to take on the Bath Fighting Bees at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Webberville will be strutting in after a victory while Bath will be coming in after a loss.

Webberville had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Perry on Wednesday. The Spartans were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Ramblers. The game was the first time the Spartans have beaten the Ramblers on their field since May 25, 2017.

Meanwhile, Bath came up short against Laingsburg on Thursday and fell 6-1. The Fighting Bees haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The win got Webberville back to even at 5-5-1. As for Bath, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
