Softball Game Preview: Southern Wells Raiders vs. Bluffton Tigers

Southern Wells hasn't had much luck against Bluffton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Raiders will take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Southern Wells has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southern Wells fell victim to Fort Wayne Bishop Luers and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 12-0. The Raiders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Meanwhile, Bluffton fell victim to Union City and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Indians. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southern Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Bluffton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Southern Wells suffered a grim 20-5 defeat to Bluffton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
