Baseball Game Preview: Walkertown Wolfpack vs. Reidsville Rams

The Walkertown Wolfpack will square off against the Reidsville Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Walkertown's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Reidsville has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Walkertown had been on a six-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Rockingham County put an end to it on Wednesday. The Wolfpack fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Wolfpack seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Meanwhile, Reidsville came up short against South Stokes on Friday, falling 17-3.

Walkertown's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Reidsville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Everything went Walkertown's way against Reidsville when the teams last played last Friday, as Walkertown made off with a 12-0 win. Will the Wolfpack repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
