Lee's Summit West is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Blue Springs 70-49 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Titans have posted since December 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, Liberty North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 55-34 to Saint Thomas Aquinas. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 91st in Missouri, while the Saints are ranked 26th in Kansas).

Lee's Summit West's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-11. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Liberty North, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Lee's Summit West didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Liberty North in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 50-46 win.
