Basketball Recap: North Hills Takes a Loss

North Hills was the 87-74 winner over Baldwin when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The North Hills Indians fell just short of the Baldwin Highlanders by a score of 61-58 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Highlanders are ranked 19th).

North Hills' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-12. As for Baldwin, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

North Hills will head out on the road to face off against Pine-Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baldwin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Fayette at 7:45 p.m. One thing working in Baldwin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
