It was a good run, but Bloom unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Rich Township Raptors by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raptors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Bloom sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-20, 20-25, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Phillip Watkins, who had ten digs.

Bloom's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Rich Township, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-13.

Coming up, Bloom will be playing in front of their home fans against Thornridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blazing Trojan are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rich Township, they will head out to take on Homewood-Flossmoor at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
