Siloam Springs has gone 7-2 against Gentry recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Siloam Springs Panthers will be playing at home against the Gentry Pioneers at 5:00 p.m.

Last Monday, Siloam Springs came up short against Greenland and fell 6-3. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Siloam Springs saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Davis, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gentry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against South Side on Thursday, sneaking past 11-10. While the Pioneers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Gentry pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Siloam Springs, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Siloam Springs couldn't quite finish off Gentry in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 and fell 15-13. Can Siloam Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
