Volleyball Recap: Ephrata Mountaineers vs. Hempfield Black Knights        
        
		
             Ephrata suffered their biggest  defeat since September 14th on Tuesday. They lost  3-0 to the Hempfield Black Knights. The Mountaineers haven't had much luck with the Black Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
 The  loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive:  Hempfield scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17,  25-20.
 When it comes to explaining why Ephrata lost, don't look at  Chloe Saylor. Despite the final result, she  had ten  digs and two  aces.
 Ephrata's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-4. As for Hempfield, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ephrata will take on Elizabethtown at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Hempfield, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Conestoga Valley  at 7:00  p.m.
