Flag Football Game Preview: Overland Trailblazers vs. Cherokee Trail Cougars + How To Watch

The Overland Trailblazers will head out on the road to face off against the Cherokee Trail Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Neither Overland nor Cherokee Trail posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Overland is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Grandview on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Trailblazers had to suffer through a 41-7 loss at the hands of the Wolves. The Trailblazers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Meanwhile, Cherokee Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 8-0 to Eaglecrest.

Overland's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Cherokee Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Overland was able to grind out a solid victory over Cherokee Trail in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 13-6. Do the Trailblazers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
