Soccer Game Preview: West Stokes vs. North Surry + How To Watch

West Stokes is 2-8 against North Surry since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Wildcats will take on the Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

It was a proper cat-fight when West Stokes took on East Surry on Monday. The Wildcats' defense stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 3-0 shutout. West Stokes have beaten East Surry the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest East Surry has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, North Surry made sure to put some goals up on the board against East Surry on Wednesday. They blew past the Cardinals 7-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for North Surry's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

OLIVER FAJARDO and BRYAN MARTINEZ scored all seven of North Surry's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

West Stokes' victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for North Surry, the win got them back to even at 8-8-3.
