Softball Recap: Swansea Takes a Loss

Swansea lost against Fox Creek on March 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Swansea came up short against Fox Creek, falling 14-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abigail Brazier made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Swansea's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fox Creek, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Swansea will head out on the road to square off against Silver Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver Bluff will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Swansea surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fox Creek, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Newberry on the 21st.
