Soccer Recap: Parkland Takes a Loss

Parkland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the West Forsyth Titans, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Parkland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 431st, while West Forsyth are ranked 27th).

Parkland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for West Forsyth, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Parkland is set to face off against their familiar foe Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Forsyth will challenge rival Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
