Soccer Game Preview: Bryan County vs. Claxton

Bryan County is 0-10 against Claxton since March of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bryan County Redskins are taking a road trip to face off against the Claxton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Bryan County has given up an average of 8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Bryan County lost 11-1 to Bradwell Institute on Friday.

Meanwhile, Claxton managed to keep up with Toombs County until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Claxton came up short against Toombs County, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 95th).

Bryan County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Claxton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Bryan County might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Claxton when the teams last played back in February. Can Bryan County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
