Basketball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus came up into this matchup off a tough 25-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Ridgeland Titans by a score of 38-35 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.

It was another big night for Eva Young, who posted 18 points and four steals for Ridgeland. Another player making a difference was Jaelyn Luckett, who had ten points and three steals.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Ridgeland, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Columbus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-56 victory against Vicksburg on the 3rd. As for Ridgeland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-53 defeat against Neshoba Central on the 3rd.
