Flag Football Recap: Stella High Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Stella High Charter Academy's offense. They had to suffer through a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Foshay Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-0 back in September.

Foshay found their leader in sophomore Emily Sandres, who threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of her passes, and also rushed for 60 yards and one score. Miriam Salgado also helped with two TDs in total.

Stella High Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Foshay, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Stella High Charter Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foshay, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-6 defeat against Santee on the 27th.
