Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is South Central's 11th in Last 12 Outings

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only South Central walked away with it. They blew past the Northern Nash Knights 15-0 on Tuesday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Lacey Spivey was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Lilly Worsley was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

South Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .652. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northern Nash only posted an OBP of .000.

South Central is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Northern Nash, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Looking ahead, South Central will take on Dixon on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. Northern Nash does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
