Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tatnall). They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Odyssey Charter Owls on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jonathan Veghte was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elliot Bishop, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Tatnall's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10-1. As for Odyssey Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tatnall will welcome Sanford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Odyssey Charter, they will host Seaford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
