It's playoff time, and The Carmel School had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 57-51 W over the St. Michael the Archangel Warriors on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won five contests in a row.

Despite the loss, St. Michael the Archangel still got an impressive performance from Odita Aguolu, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 27 points and six rebounds. Aguolu has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Dezzie Ainsworth was another key player, putting up six points and ten boards.

The Carmel School's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-9.

The Carmel School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 83-57 loss against Fairfax Christian on the 1st. St. Michael the Archangel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
