Softball Recap: Iron Mountain Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Negaunee, Iron Mountain was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Niagara Badgers by a score of 14-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mountaineers considering their one-run performance the game before.

The victory got Iron Mountain back to even at 1-1. As for Niagara, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Iron Mountain will challenge Florence at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Niagara, they will face off against North Dickinson at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
